Wall Street has obviously been cheating and scamming on a grandiose scale. If their poor decisions have led to them coming to the brink of going under I say let them fail. We as a nation are a free enterprise market.

It seems to me every 20 years or so there is a major banking scandal and the govt. steps in to bail out the cheaters for some reason. The previous one that comes to mind is Whitewater. Why are we the hard working taxpayers of America bailing out these liars and cheats? Banks already gouge us for every nickel and dime they can get. Have you tried to cash a check lately at a bank, which you do not have, an account at?

The automobile manufacturers. We bailed out Chrysler a few years back and now we seem to be fixing to bail out the entire automobile industry once again. WHY!!! It is common knowledge in some circles that Detroit has had the ability to build cars and trucks that get 60+ miles to the gallon since the 60’s yet they have failed to do so and are not doing so today. It is possible to power our vehicles and homes with hydrogen and the technology has been around since the 50s. We could be completely off of fossil fuels in a very short time if we changed over to hydrogen. We could power our cars and heat and cool our homes with rainwater, which is free and falls from the sky. Why isn’t this happening?

I have been using public transportation as much as possible for a few years now because I know that every time I guy a gallon of gasoline I am helping to buy weapons for the people who are trying to kill our soldiers and each and every one of us. It appalls me that so many folks in America have not begun doing so as well.

Why can’t the politicians give every man woman and child in America $100,000.00 each. Lets do the math…. Lets say there are 300 million legitimate Americans in America. If the government gave every man woman and child in America 100,000.00 the cost would be 300 Billion dollars. Hmm That would save the American taxpayer 450 Billion dollars over the plan our government is putting in play at this time. You cannot tell me that if every man woman and child in America was given $100.000 dollars that the economy would not be stimulated in a major way! Folks could pay their house payment refinance their houses, buy new cars and pay cash and the list goes on. If I as a hard working taxpayer can figure this out why can’t the government?!!
